What is a Tarotoligist? 



let's Begin by saying it took be a long time before I came across the word Tarotoligist, this came in a meditation when I was asking about my my business, what do I call myself when I Read Tarot, study Tarot and Mentor others in Tarot....

TAROTOLIGIST

This is someone who studies every aspect of Tarot in dept.... 
Is always looking for new knowledge.... for me that means looking at different people's perspective, their tools, their methods, their knowledge and working out how I can apply it to my own journey.... 

This has been such a huge journey for me, reading and learning and helping others to find their skills and abilities...
This began over 20 years ago with RWS (Rider Waite Smith Tarot deck) I could not connect with  Then suddenly connected with NAT (Native American Tarot by Magda Weck Gozales ) 
to suddenly finding myself able to pick up any deck and be able to do readings..... realizing the cards were tools to a deeper knowledge that lay within.  

I read at Healthy Living Expos, Monthly Psychic Fairs until I was running my own Soul Healing Expos within my Healing Centre.... 

Things have changed and I left behind some of that world due to personal circumstances, but slowly am bringing myself back into the world of #Tarot ... with over 20+ years in the Tarot Community  It is a place I missed.. Self-healing is valuable though ... when reading 7 days a week   for up to 7 hrs a day  over 5 years  there can be Tarot Burn out... it is important to re balance self, take care of own needs and find boundaries to say NO....

I have taken those 2 years to find myself again.. SO slowly I looked at how I could rekindle my knowledge, rekindle my passion for Tarot  and with the Forums, the networking and checking out YouTube videos, Free Resources available from online ... I finally reawakened what had been lying dormant within .... so slowly over the last couple of months I have done some free readings and got back into paid readings and find I have fully reconnected with self... 

So Here I am A Tarotologist ready to Read The Cards, Learn, (Never stop learning) and Mentor.....

There are many ways to read this Spread.. Trust in how you choose to read it . How I Connect With The Cards...

The Way I Connect with the Cards, the messages as individuals for each person. Knowing that each person is so different from another... I understand that everyone is different, All Readers read differently. They may use tools or no  tools . They may use Cards, Runes, I-Ching, Tea-leaves, palms and crystals.. You may even find a reader that connects with jewelry. There are so many ways a reader will read for a client. Even card readers read differently from each other, Some use Tarot, Oracle, or even Lenormand Cards, Others will use playing cards, they use specifically for Readings. Today's Reading I decided to use Mists of Avalon for some reflection and used a Five card spread from the Guide Book ... Let us begin with the notion that  the cards are ink and paper, created by artists who wish to share a story. The Story developed over time with characters, symbols, colours. Images that allow one to open up within themselves. Why I Promote Other Readers and Mentors?

I often get asked from Clients Why I promote other Readers/Healers and Mentors?  Aren't we in competition with each other? Wouldn't I want to keep all the client's myself? The Short Answer , well maybe not quite so short... Take a moment to know We as Readers, Healers and Mentors are all very different, we share some similarities but there are also many differences in how we read, teach Tarot. What systems we use if any? Whether we read with Intuition or Card meanings directly? We are all very different....
