Medicine Woman Tarot

Medicine Woman Tarot ...

Working with this deck  I find it quite different with the imagery and the meanings behind each card.. The Author has created a deck that connects to Native American Thoughts but yet is empowering for Women on many levels ... It combines aspects of the Teachings but yet enables you to think about the Feminine aspect of all Women Globally ...

The Major Arcana carry words that are unique to this deck ...as well as the Traditional Names on the cards...
The four suits are not the traditional names of Tarot  and the Four Court Cards are certainly not traditional Names of Tarot ....

The Four Suits are Pipes, Bowls, Arrows and Stones
While the Court Cards are Apprentice, Totem, Exemplar, and  Power Lodge ...
This deck takes some time to get use to it and be able to work with it without checking on the names of the Court cards...

But over time and with perseverance I loved using this deck at Expos and Fairs... I found the images empowering for both Men and Women and found people responded well with the imagery overall ..

The Guidebook was an excellent book (wished I hadn't lost the book) I still have the Little White Book but it is not has complete in it's overall use of the deck ....
I find the meanings a very small aspect of the actual card ....
