Erotic Tarot Study

 This is a deck I wanted to dive deeper into, knowing this may take some time to really get to know..

I can use  RWS or TdM  type meanings  to do general  readings  but to really get to use it for it's intended purpose I really  need to work out the keywords of the cards... 

SO let's dive deeper into this deck  .. as we begin with the Major Arcana .. There is so much more in the book but I want to keep it simple for now. 

The Fool 

Being in love,  New beginnings, Time to explore and discover.  You have much to offer. Keep things uncomplicated.  

The Magician 

Taking matters into own hands, no limit to what is possible. Experimenting with new things. Using all possible skills to manifest what you desire.. 

The High Priestess

Secrets could be revealed or are they kept? Silence may be needed t this time.  Trust in intuition.  Connecting to the mysteries.. Spirituality..  Drawing you in.  

The Empress 

Brings Abundance, Unconditional love and promise. Loving, nurturing, creativity, Nourish  self on all levels. Making babies, Motherhood. Smothering (too much  fuss ) 

The Emperor 

Being in own Power, Responsibility, Leadership, Fatherhood, Being in control.  Making decisions. Provider.  

The High Priest 

Initiation, Training, Education, institutions, Authority, Ritual-Spirituality., Religious Dogma, Submission, Teachers, student, Sharing of knowledge, learning from others. A sense of belonging. 

The Lovers 

Choices, Relationships, Harmony, Unison, partnerships, short term, Alliances, Affairs, Mutual attraction, role-playing... Sexual relationship, passion.. 

The Chariot

Triumph, Success, Victory in the moment, A win, achieving your goal... First step in long journey. First experiences, the first time doing something. Having confidence.. Moving in contemplated direction. 

Strength

Courage, strength, endurance, stamina    A sense of liberation, ecstasy, Kundalini, Merging and flow, Speaking your truth, noisy Sex. 

The Hermit

Isolation, Solitude, A guiding hand, self-searching, Focus, demonstration, withdrawal, Secret Wisdom, attainment.  Self-Exploration may be needed at this time. 

Wheel of Fortune

Getting Lucky, Social Whirl, Risk-taking, temporary Good or bad luck. Switching, Turn-taking, Sex Games. May not be able to control the result ... Do all we can to make sure success ... 

Justice 

This card reminds me to look at the consequences of the actions taken,  Look at the truth of the situation , Trying to find equilibrium . balance within. 

The Hanged One

Sacrifice, different angles, perspectives, options, viewpoints available within one's journey .. 

Death 

Transformation. changes, endings come from the changes that take place.  stepping into a moment .. 

Temperance 

Moderation,  moving through the changes to be not be in excess .. do not  be excessive in actions, thoughts, emotions.. 

The Devil -  to me speaks of addictions,  repeated patterns, bad habits, a sense of being chained to what does not  serve you well.  a Sense of  lust the world seems to disappear, unable to function normally around someone else.   

The Tower-  Feeling like the relationship is rocky, in for a doom and gloom scenario, but in reality it gives you the possibility to rebuild the relationship you want. Take a leap of faith, gain some understanding.  

The Star- This is a time of healing, feeling blessed, binging hope to a relationship.  Is there blind faith?  This is about being in the moment, inspired and full of hope. Wishes being fulfilled. Indulging in good things. 

The Moon -There are moments of illusion, being deceived, feeling intoxicated and wild in the moment. Using imagination, being safe . Acknowledge that natural cycles and altered states are part of the journey.  A fear of intimacy or losing control is real for you.  

The Sun - Everyone benefits from the Sun.  Loving attention, a boost of confidence. Basking in the Sun, spending time outdoors.  Being naked, revealing self.  Happiness, joy and peace. 

Judgement - The Awakening-  Wake-up calls, a resolution.. A realization, understanding.. A declaration .. a sense of coming out in who you are, being authentic within.  A sense of liberation.  Ready to start anew. 

The World - Happy-endings, An end to something, Starting over, Achievements, Completion, Satisfaction.  A journey has been completed with a risk that was worth taking ...  Ready to start a new adventure 

Next time I want to continue exploring the Suits.  What does each suit mean?   How they relate to relationships, sexuality etc?

For me this card reminds us to slow  down not be in such a hurry .. 

be wary of moving into a whole lot of drama.. 

This knight can  speak of being Charming and talking you into anything.. Listening to them could mean you lose yourself. 

Don't argue for the sake of it, or cover up your true desires.

Here This card reminds us we are supported at this time ,, recognized for what we can do .  We have the skills and the abilities to achieve what we desire .. To bring a sense of expansion and growth  even though there may be some challenges, some trials and tribulations ...  

It can remind us not to slack off ..  Others may notice when you do not do what you are truly capable of.

In the book  he is the ruler,  someone you must obey .. He is the Daddy energy of the relationship.  

Punishments and rewards.  A foul temper, does not like his authority undermined. He thinks he is the King of the castle but he is no Emperor.  

For me I see this King of Feathers as someone who is organized and very firm, straight to the point,  money orientated,  business opportunistic,  Always looking for new business opportunities..  Definitely feel as though he likes to  be in charge...  An Authoritive Figure..   Manipulative in some ways...  

An interesting take on this card .. with the image .. I see him very much persuading others to do what he wants.
