From Wellbeing - Almanac ...   Sphinx speaks  of being like a chameleon, changing shape when necessary.  The Sphinx can speak of  being mysterious, magical, even everyday events can be exciting.  A guardian of treasure, intuitive skills for foretelling the future.  Problem solving skills. Self-discipline, serious and discreet.  Wise and shrewd mind, Making strategic choices. Organized, adaptable and discerning.  Keeping feet on the ground will be important.  

 We begin this moment of reflection by looking at my Birthdate ..  Deck Used; Waterfall Tarot by TarotOracle ...   11th March, 1969 - 11/03/ 1969   In tarot -  11th Justice   3rd month March - The Empress  1969 (the Year I was Born ) - The Chariot   Overall -  The Empress ...   Just thought of another aspect I could include if adding up the three cards -  Justice, The Empress and The Chariot   11, 03, 07 = 21 The World  ...   The year was one of direction being forged as I  found balance that year..   consequences of actions taken  (not by me but by others close to me )  it was the year I was born, created ,  so I found over the years,  myself  being one of a mother hen.. wanting to nurture others on their journeys.  Sometimes over the years I have forgotten to take care of myself , so busy worrying about others.   I have achieved success over the years, moved through cycles - it was a big year for me 1969...  as I was adopted into a loving family and taken care of on many levels ...

 There are so many different thoughts about getting your first Tarot deck...  Must it be gifted?  No, it is not necessary for your first Tarot deck to be gifted .. This came about with many different thoughts, some of those thoughts began with the Temples, Covens that gave the initiates  their first tarot deck  to begin their Tarot Study from a Mentor, a Teacher within the Temple or the Coven.  An Initiate would also design their Tarot deck themselves after leaning what each card means. How to understand the symbols in a reading?   Another thought came about because of readers wanting to be the only reader in a community so would tell others that Tarot decks needed to be gifted and then they would have to pay the  Teacher, Mentor to teach them Tarot - so in reality the deck would be included in the cost of the course.  Stealing a Tarot deck ?   No.. It is not about the magic of the cards, the sense of karma  etc  but the law, the legalities and also the morality of stealing from others

  Temperance & Reliable .. . The first thoughts include to Temper something .. to calm something down.. to moderate .. to not be in excess ... and to be reliable in a situation ...  There are times when we need to be aware of how we react and to continue to be reliable in different situations ....and not to get too angry or hurt by what other's say or do.  Generosity & Rational  Here we are reminded to give to others unconditionally, to give without expecting anything in return .. to surrender to the moment ...  Here we find ourselves trying to rationalize what we are doing but yet we are asked to let go of  thinking too much about it and just do it .. be in the moment .. we may find ourselves over rationalizing what we are giving to others... ...
