Shadow aspect spread

 I was reading an issue of Cartomancer I had just purchased and the first thing I read was an article about Solar Eclipse Shadow work .. 

A spread was  created by the author so I thought I would try it .. 

Taking the  3 Major Arcana Cards out of the pack and laying them with the Sun and Star at the top and the Moon directly below the Sun .. 

Shuffling and at first drawing 3 Cards 

Laying them between the Sun and the Moon Cards. 

Thinking about a positive experience I may have had negative thoughts too ..  

I pulled out The Fool, Three of Wands and Five of Cups ... 

With the keywords on each of the cards 

Change, Communication and Grief 

Which I thought was very interesting at this time...   Dealing with a loss on some level there had been some changes and I need to look at how I needed to communicate at the time,,, 

But lets dive a little deeper into each card  with my own knowledge of the cards ... 

The Fool , looks at new beginnings, new possibilities, having fun, being free-spirited, times to be cautious as we be in the now, in the moment instead of worrying about the past and the future. I get a sense of being careful about wasting one's own energies on things  that have not happened and may never happen.  

Three of Wands speaks of expansion, growth in one's energies, desires, creative endeavor passions, Spirituality on some level,   It can also remind us to pause for a second, reflect, acknowledge the past but do not dwell there for long..  time to contemplate your goals, the direction you desire to move in.   

Five of Cups to me can speak about Spilled milk, there are some things in life we can acknowledge but do not focus our emotions on it as it is out of our control, time to look at what we can change instead of what we can not.    Maybe something better is happening we just need to turn around and see it, open our eyes to it, instead of turning our back on it.   

Next I shuffled the deck again before pulling another card to lay underneath the Star card 

Thinking about how I can make the changes, Tools and solutions. 

and lay Ten of Pentacles 

Keyword Wealth ... Again I get that focusing on what I have instead of what I do not have.   

Let's dive deeper into this card.

Ten of Pentacles to me can also speak of inheritance, abundance success, it feels as though everything is coming together, the paths taken will take us to the required destiny.  We will reach our goals no matter which path I Take it may take a slow journey ...  

Overall I found this really interesting to dive into this spread  ...
