Page three Minor Arcana Swords
Swords
Swords- intellect, communication, thoughts, ideas, perceptions, mentality...
Swords can represent Those who are Air Signs ....
The Ace of Swords - begins with new beginnings, we can think if it cutting away at the confusion, clearing away the chaos from within the mind...
Looking at the Imagery discover what the crown means, the vines, the yellow flowers, the clouds, the land below ...
Two of Swords - Peace restored, for me it can speak of decisions to be made, crossroads, paths to be taken... A woman dressed in green sits upon what appears to be a throne, wearing a green dress, holding two swords crossed over- blindfolded (what is not being seen ? )
Three of Swords- heartbreak, heartbroken, betrayed on some level, this card can come up in a love triangle too ... Things can seem stormy within this situation ...
Four of Swords- can speak of rest, vacation, taking time out, reviewing one's own perspective.
Maybe this is time to reflect, contemplate what lies ahead mentally...
Five of Swords- can be a no win situation, maybe you have won a situation but it leaves you feeling hollow within. Maybe you are the ones who have been defeated in the imagery.... There are different layers to this card,....
Six of Swords- Shifting from chaos to smoother waters, moving away from something, a shift in perspective, a change in ideas, thoughts, plans etc ... the way you may communicate ...
Seven of Swords- Thief, Taking something from another, (this can be literal but can also be symbolic) it can speak of taking back one's own power, being empowered...
Eight of Swords- contained, restrained, bound, blinded, caged, restricted .. all of those things about being held captive in someway, physically by another or mentally by self by your own perceptions, or your own actions ... This card can ask you to take responsibility for the way you are feeling from within ...
Nine of Swords- can talk about stress and worry, release it to the universe, ask for help and guidance at this time .. know you are not alone, as there are others to support you when needed. .
Ten of Swords- Things ending, things are final, things cut from the situation.. this makes way for something new to arrive, new opportunities to be offered...
Page of Swords- for me this youthful energy is one who has no experience but yet keeps seeking for the truth. They expect others to give only the truth when asking a question...
Knight of Swords- He rushes ahead with a battle cry, ready to fight, to take action, has he made plans, has he stratagised before rushing in... I find when he arrives in a spread he asks have you made plans, before you move into the situation? He can remind us at times it is best to stop, take a pause and not rush in....
Queen of Swords- She has many layers to her, she is analytical, nurturing the mind, through expecting only the truth, honesty and integrity at all times, you may find she is sharp-tongued with those who do not offer the truth, She may be claircogniscent- someone who seems to know, even when not being told ...
King of Swords- He is military in his thoughts, he is a leader who expects nothing less than strategy, plans to be made, he is a deep thinker that offers solutions to problems, he may delegate instead of taking action....
Now I have completed the Swords in the Minor section...
Have you looked at the imagery,, how does the card make you feel? What colours stand out? What are the characters doing? Anything else in the card stand out for you?
