Reflections Tarot

7 Chalice (Cups) 
We look at this card and discover the seven Gold Chalices.... we see a figure of a red-haired woman in what appears as a bikini .. a face behind her smiling with Jewelry, abundance with riches in the centre ... a skull to the right   a man in green  a hooded figure to the left  there are others in the background we can not fully see.. a stone, brick building, a structure that seems solid but yet can be destroyed.. a Full Moon is the the top left hand corner not completely seen ...  This card reminds us that not all is revealed, not all can be as it seems, that all choices do not bring us true satisfaction in life, not all choices are wise, some are not what they appear to be ... some appear on the surface as one thing but underneath they are truly something else... 

 This card reminds us of the important decisions we have yet to be made,
Standing on the brink of a new cycle, more than one option available at this time. Use logic and common sense to have confidence in your choices. 


I decided to take a deeper look at Reflections Tarot and drew 
The 8 of Cups for today 
- 17th October, 2018 ....  This Wednesday Morning...  


I wanted to take a deeper look at this card because as I looked at this card I got the message...
"What are you trying to deny? What are you trying to walk away from? " 
With the Girl walking away from the Girl that is sitting with her head against the rock, is she actually walking away from herself, or is it another?  The Moon speaks of reflection as we see it reflected in the Water (being emotions).. The Moon also speaks of Cycles and phases, which phase is it in right now?  The Moon speaks of the Unconscious, so what is hidden and needs to come out to be faced?  We see lots of different Blues, so we see the Blue of the Throat- needing to express self, communicate clearly... The dark Indigo Blue of the Third Eye, the truth of the situation needs to be faced... the connection to the Inner Spirit, The Spirit of the Spirit Realm ? What is so dreadful we need to walk away?  What is so horrible we can not turn to face it?   We see the Glimmer of hope as we look at the Moon.. this light that reflects what  we feel may be hidden ... 

This card brings us to sit in Silence so we can gather the knowledge we need at this time ....

There are many ways to read this Spread.. Trust in how you choose to read it . Each Deck is so Different .. There are many different Tarot decks designed by many different amazing individuals… Every deck is perfect in it’s own way… Some images speak louder than others, that is because we as readers are all very different, we are individuals that like and are drawn to different artwork… Also our thoughts processors are individualized.  Our perceptions are individualized.  No one sees the same image in the same card. Different colours, characters, symbols stand out for each of us. Today's Reading I decided to use Mists of Avalon for some reflection and used a Five card spread from the Guide Book ...
