This card reminds us to look at our thoughts, actions and emotions in this situation, how do we react when things seem difficult.  Also are we addicted to something or someone? find ourselves with bad habits, repeated patterns, unable to move away, stop doing something?  

This can ask if we are ready to break free from what was? 

XVI The Tower - God's Sister Amara brings with her destruction, a calamity when She releases Darkness-  For me this card represents the crumbling of walls around you, a seeing of something being destroyed, needing to have a leap of faith, an understanding of what is of value here in the moment.  A pursuit of being able to rebuild new foundations  in the design you want .  

XVII The Star - Jack Kline, Son of  Lucifer, takes charge of his own destiny by choosing to fight against evil.  He is an innocent in the world of monsters.  The Star reminds us of having hope,  wishing with all of our might for something good to happen.  Allowing an inner light to shine from within, to see the light out of all of the darkness.
