This is a very slow process as I discover there are so many different aspects to Runes ...  To know more about Runes I suggest you do your own study and learning .... and read some of the Books I suggest or check online .... Used In written language not by everyday people but those who were specifically Rune Masters. Why do I begin with this title ?    Do I Believe Tarot is the Devil's Work?   Let us begin by examining the Word Devil ....(these are my thoughts and opinions and you may or may not agree ...) Devil - Religious word used for things that are not what is of God.... The Devil given to an aspect that is Pagan  ( An Umbrella Term for Country Dweller- or for someone who does not follow a Book Religion such as Christianity, Islam and Jewish.... They may follow not a Monotheistic Religion but more of a Polytheistic One, (More about that later) The Devil Created firstly by the Church Clergy to give fear to A Pagan  Horned God ....and manifested the aspect of Satan ( that is another aspect - that may be covered later on in another post- as this is a huge subject matter of the Fallen Angel ....) I know we use The Devil card in Tarot - but this is about facing your own personal demons, addictions, bad habits, repeated patterns that keep you chained to the past ....  What is God.

These cards are no longer the Old Major Arcana but something quite unique and interesting  ... With the meanings I am not going to focus on the Old meanings but the New Messages from these cards .... This is a deck I have just begun working with ...and unfortunately I don't have the LWB as I can see it would of been very useful with this deck overall .... This may take some time to really get a grip on this deck overall in that it is very different in it's approach to Tarot ... It truly takes one on a journey of changes, transformation as you look at each card ... I begin this journey by drawing .... 5 of Pentacles ...  We look at this card:  The Pentacles indicates "The Posthumous Metamorphoses." We have reached a transition where we can transcend our weak fleshly bodies and enter "an era of uniting flesh and metal."  The Review of this deck  Definition of Posthumous-  occurring, awarded, or appearing after the death of the originator. The Changes happen after the ending of the decaying  of something within our journey .. the ending, when something dies within our pathway , we allow ourselves to go through a metamorphoses.

This deck fascinated me ... how do we include the story of The Lord of the Rings into Tarot readings ... What does each card actually mean, do they follow the traditional meanings or has the author changed them slightly ....  When I began to explore this deck I realized how well this deck was put together ....  The meanings of the Tarot plus the storyline to be included in the Card Game ... there really is two aspects of this deck ... but I find as I work with this deck I discover how well the game, the words written on the cards can be included in a basic reading ....  This really is a fun deck with a truly serious side to it has it shares it message of insight ...  Here the 0 The Fool  a youth, a novice, a student of life ...  Gollum sits and contemplates what is possible .... by a pool of water ...  The Fool begins his journey carefree and free-spirited and unknowing what is ahead ...  but then realizes he has to yet decide in which direction he must move....
