This suit speaks of " Blue is the colour of the sky, the moment before daybreak and represents dreams and meditation. The suit of Soul explores our experiences of spirituality and Magic."
In the right hand bottom corner there is a vessel in each card..
As I moved through each card I discovered my own thoughts about each card and what it could mean to me in that moment ..
Ace- Etching of the Soul
Taking a deeper look at this card created in Blue we see a figure.. Is he emerging from the water that surrounds his body? a Stone with a symbol that seems to represent water Stands deep within the water, does it beak the surface... in the right hand bottom corner there appears to be a vessel. The Hair of the figure seems to be blowing in the wind... For me knowing One is the start of a journey, it is the beginning of one's own magic, one's own spirituality begins... This allows one to acknowledge the dreams of what could be....
2- Age of the Soul
Here we see what appears to be someone looking down upon another sitting on a rock . Sharing their wisdom, their knowledge about their own spirituality, their own inner magic. I get a sense of teaching is of value here, sharing of what is possible within one's own path
3- Mask of the Soul
A woman speaks, sings , shouts , uses her voice while the masked dancer moves to his own beat.... She appears to be drowning in water .. but hidden from view of him, he does not see what is happening behind him. maybe she is trying to catch her breath , to be heard above the noise of the world?
4- Bones of The Soul
Here we see a woman casting bones, trying to find answers from a Form of Divination. Each bone in a set position means something. What message is being relayed to the seeker, The Seer...
I feel this card can speak of finding answers, of trying to look outside of ourselves instead of within . Using tools within our own spirituality, maybe casting magic to find clarity on some level.
5-Stones of The Soul
Here we see a Man facing to the right at the bottom of the card.. Behind in the distance we see Stone monument, like a Stone Circle . These large stones to me speak of a gateway.. a place that is Sacred ..
A place that brings an awareness to one's own Spirituality .. It could represent any place that feels sacred to one's own beliefs.
6- Rite of the Soul
Here we see a man looking down upon the Moon.. Knowing in ritual things must happen at a certain time.. For me this card may speak of things happening in Divine Timing within Spiritual practices.. Think about when things should take place.. being aware of when something should be done . This card speaks of time . the Phase of the moon can speak of cycles, acknowledging the best phase to achieve results needed at this time.
7- Era of the Soul ..
Looking at this card we see a large bone in the front of a naked woman- she faces to the right in moving ahead ... This moment shares something that is developing.. I keep wanting to say something about being hooked into something ...a sense of being propelled into stepping onto a new path...
8- Spirit of The Soul..
Here we see what appears as a Demon like energy looking down on a man playing a drum .. He plants the seed of doubt by listening to what the demon says within himself.. The self doubt that is planted slows down the beat of the man .., I feel as though he has a sense of self-pity within himself... The Man must choose whether to listen to the demon or make his own beat .. face the fears within himself.
9-Birth of the Soul...
A Man stands in front of a Spear with his hands up in surrender ... Ready to allow his inner Spirituality to bring something new to fruition. He seems prepared for what ever will happen in that moment. It is as though he knows sacrifice may be necessary at this time. Even though the most difficult situations are important to move ahead ...
10-Environment of The Soul
A woman in the left bottom corner notices in the background is lightening .. Maybe she heard the thunder before the lightening .. She seems aware of her environment. Lightening to me represents enlightenment, understanding to the situation at this time... Maybe bringing a sense of immediate impact to the path... Through stilling the mind she is able to move through the process within. Meditation may bring understanding.
11-Child of The Soul
This appears to show a child who hides behind a rock that appears as a face... For me this seems like the unknown brings fear to the moment... An unknown, hidden path to move ahead Spiritually. This feels as though new lessons are preparing us for what lies ahead by throwing us into the path of the unknown.
12 -Animal of the Soul
A Rhino appears to be racing ahead, as a man with spear and shield runs behind him.. For the Man to be successful in his hunt he must control his emotions on many levels. and make sure he is not too quick to act. He Must also pay attention to other dangers around him as he watches his prey.
13- Woman of The Soul
Here we see a woman holding what appears to be a mask, she has removed it from in front of her face. She has revealed who she is behind the mask... She has opened herself up for those around her. I keep getting he words Honesty and integrity.. Her motives are pure in its intent .. Comes from a place of the heart. There may be some difficult choices to be made, with her own inner power she reveals who she is and what is important at this time...
14 Man of The Soul..
Here we see an elderly man holding his hand up in front of his face .. with a bone like bracelet around the wrist . He appears to be staring straight at you, daring you to make a move forward. He shares his knowledge as a teacher would. He shows he has life experience through his actions.
