Ace-Etching of Nature
A Tree stands in the centre with a rock on the grass ... here I find a sense of inner strength, an ability to look at one's life force. A fresh start, a new beginning to what is possible ...
2-Age of Nature
A person walks towards the right holding a staff, a bird facing the left behind sitting on a rock. I see directions needed to be taken, choices yet to be made.
3-Mask of Nature
A woman naked, tattooed , facing left wearing a mask , appears to be made of bark, with many branches on it.. I get a feeling of something being hidden, from within.. The Choices are many, maybe overwhelmed which is why they choose to stay hidden, Unable to face their own vulnerabilities.
4- Bones of Nature
A man in the background, Is that a large skeleton or boulder in the foreground? The man appears to be looking down on what is seen at this time. It seems as though he feels he is not very important, of value at this time on this path, part of the journey... maybe feel he could be hidden from view... Even though he is actually seen he does not realize it yet.
5- Stones of Nature
A large Gorilla is seen with a small rock on his head , we only see his face , he seems to be in stillness, a sense of calm holds in in time. There could be chaos around him but yet he seems serene as he does not want the rock to fall.
6-Rite of Nature
A Woman looks down covered by the earth, a plant grows , it feels as though this speaks of nurture, a gentleness, expansion, growth... a Harmony within one's journey comes from experiences of life.
7- Era of Nature
A rock rises from within the landscape , a man kneels at the foot of this rock... looking to the lost knowledge , willing it to appear within.
8- Spirit of Nature
A man stands beside the tree, at first I thought he may have been wearing the branches as a headpiece then I realize he hides behind the tree, the Moon in the background speaking of cycles, tides of emotions, the unknown lies ahead even with experiences of the past we have yet to discover what truly lies ahead, the Seer who seeks answers ..
9- Birth of Nature
A Man looks ahead, holding what appears as bone, scythe shaped tool .. it feels as though something must be cut away, removed before being born.. To allow things to be gained other things must be released...
10- Environment of Nature
a Man stands in the rain leaning against what appears as a statue made of Rock ... taking a moment to rest, to pause to look at his own burdens, what weighs him down in that moment, slows him down in moving ahead. It feels as though there may be delays, challenges, obstacles in this path...
11- Child of Nature
looking down on the forest in wonder....
12- Animal of Nature
A Gorilla looks ahead as a man looks to the right ... it is as though there is a choice to face one's adversity or turn away from it at this time ...
13-Woman of Nature
a Woman and a child faces to the left I think of nurture, a connection between two that is profound, on the same page... a connection born of love of understanding, a sense of knowing ....
14- Man of Nature
A man looks directly ahead, ready for what life has to throw at him ... He seems prepared ...
When I do a reading I find that other aspects from the cards may come through in the message that I had not initially thought of in my Tarot Study ....
These meanings I write up are not all of what is in the image.... These are just starting points to uncover my own meanings.
Some days as I look at the cards, thoughts seem to flow on some level, sometimes it seems to be easy other times it seems much more of a struggle ... Sometimes I work with the cards quickly other times it seems to take so much longer .. There are no fast rules but it is about being flexible and doing what feels right in this moment ... .
