Page 19- XVIII The Moon

We are so close to completing the Major Arcana of a A Tarot deck?

Which deck are you working with?  Are you enjoying this section of understanding through the different thoughts?

let us continue with the Moon ...

Rider Waite Smith Tarot ...

The Moon with a face, side on looking towards the earth.... rays reflecting .... we see two dogs howling at the moon, different colours showing different aspects... Wild and being tame... a golden path from the water through the mountains ... two pillars on either side (Towers maybe) lobster, crayfish on the edge of the water....

Moon traditionally means Dreams.... can also ask us to see the illusion the moon reflects in our life,  the enemies we must face during our journey,  This card can arrive to ask us to look at our wild self and look at what needs to be tamed.... can speak about reflection, cycles, phases (stages of those cycles) .... What are we afraid of at this time?   What else does this card mean to you?  what is important, stands out?

Aqua Tarot ...

Look at the similarities, now look at the differences....  How does this card make you feel?
The Towers (pillars) are purple .. The lobster shows it's reflection is the water....  The water seems more of a stream instead of a pond... What else does this card mean to you?

Dragon Tarot

A large purple Dragon sits between two large black pillars (looks like obsidian which reflects the Moonlight within) we see the water that flows over the rocks into the water ... a lobster sits within the swampy Earth ....  This feels more dreamy, more mystical....
Describe the similarities and the differences.....

Enchanted Tarot Ultimate...
This card - I feel is softer in its appearance,,, with the Crescent Moon ... a Dog on the rocks with what appears as a woman reflecting on her path...On the Waters edge we see a large building.... I get the feeling this card is asking what is being contained within your dreams?  Are you connecting with the Moon energies as you contemplate in what lies ahead?
The Dog speaks of friendships, being loyal .....   What else does this card speak of?

Ghosts and Spirits Tarot
We see a couple walking upon a path in what appears to be a cave .... in a light that shines within this space, it seems surreal.... .

From the LWB (to get an understanding of this card)

18 • The Moon (Aeneus’ Journey to
the Underworld)
A prophetic dream sent Aeneus to the underworld in search of his father. The journey is filled with both hope and horror as he bears witness to the suffering of the punished as well as the blissful afterlife of the rewarded. He eventually finds his dead father Anchises who reveals Aeneus’ fate as founder of Rome. The underworld is symbolic of the unconscious and houses both our greatest dreams and biggest fears. The underground passage displays faces of both tortured souls and enlightened beings. We must decipher the messages that will assist us on our journeys.
